Professional Cleaning

A professional teeth cleaning is a routine procedure designed to eliminate unwanted tartar, bacteria and plaque from the teeth. Our hygienists can access areas that cannot be reached with at-home brushing and flossing. Doing this allows us to remove any harmful material. The process starts with us using dental equipment to carefully scrape away any tartar, calculus and plaque. We use a gentle touch to keep the patient as comfortable as possible. The process is finished with the teeth being cleaned and polished. This eliminates surface stains and helps to reduce bad breath.

Full Examination

A full examination is a process during which our team checks the patient’s teeth for any problems or issues that may have developed since their last visit. Any findings will be shared with the patient during their visit. Some of the most common oral health issues found during an examination include tooth decay, cavities and inflammation of the gums. Any findings will be immediately shared with the patient.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays consist of images produced by digital radiography devices that reveal problems and issues hidden below the main oral surface. The resulting images offer the best look at the patient’s complete oral structures. We can upload the digital images to a monitor and easily share any findings with the patient. Some of the most common issues we uncover through digital X-rays include tooth decay, gum disease, jawbone deterioration, oral cysts and more.

Oral Cancer Screening

An oral cancer screening is an examination designed to check for oral cancer. Some people are at a much higher risk for oral cancer, but it is important to check every patient. A preliminary screening is very brief, and it simply involves our experts checking the soft oral tissues for any unusual growths or other abnormalities.
